The future of unlimited data on the Now Network.

As of last week those of you with Sprints wi-fi tethering plan will now be capped at 5gig every month. Charges will apply for any overages beyond the new limit. I personally root every android phone I own and have been able to avoid paying for this extra feature. This news from Sprint however has fueled new speculation as to if and when sprint will begin to cap it's unlimited data plan. People around the interwebs have been sounding off as to this possible move. Well you can rest easy as Chief Technology officer Stephen Bye spoke out for the company on it's continuing promise to be the only carrier to offer such a perk. With all the need for extra bandwith from today's smartphone users, the promise may one day see an end. Until then all you " Now Network" members, enjoy it while you can. Do you think Sprint will eventually bring an end to this luxury? Let me know what you think in the comment section below, and as always don't forget to subscribe for more news and reviews.

With the many Android phones floating around this crazy rock we call home, one has many choices on a mobile device to fit their life best. Each manufacturer from HTC to Samsung equips their handsets with custom skinned versions of android. From Moto's new deblurred UI to Samsung's latest version of Touchwiz. These phones all have their unique traits and functionality. What I do wonder though is with all the effort they put into these roms; what do customers think of it after they get the device home. We all know that Samsung's first version of touchwiz on the original Galaxy S had a cartoonish look that closely resembled that of the iphone. I for one was not fan. I owned a Samsung Vibrant for a little over a year and with the exception of the first week I kept it hidden with a custom launcher. I for one prefer both ADW and Launcher pro not only for their clean looks but also their ability to be customized. They offer a great alternative for someone wanting to spruce up their android handset and both are free to download in the market. With that said. I ask do you have a custom launcher installed on your phone; or do you prefer to keep it all stock. Let me know in the comment section below, and don't forget to subscribe.

Should Small Providers Offer Better Phones?

With the big four carriers out there offering some of the best mobile phones to date. I ask should the smaller carriers such as Boost, Cricket, and Virgin, offer better Android devices. Cricket has been skating by with the Huawei Ascend for over a year now and not much has been said if any new devices will be coming. Boost on the other hand has two smart phones on their shelves with the Motorola il and the Samsung Prevail. All three phones fall short of offering a 1ghz processor, the Prevail being the best with it's 800 mghz chip set. None of the three offer a camera above 3 megapixels nor a led flash for your low light situations. Although these phones are still capable of giving the owner enjoyment. You might pay more for these devices at the counter, but the lack of an overpriced contract makes up for it. I ask though if these carriers were to offer more stellar mid-range devices, would you be willing to pay more up front?
